I'm about 40% done with my 6 months of chemo, but my appetite is disappearing, and it's often too much trouble to cook something to eat.

Any suggestions for ready-to-eat, wholesome foods I can keep on hand for quick snacking?

I liked apples, cut fruit, sourdough bread w/ olive oil & balsamic vinegar, red, orange, and yellow bell peppers, nuts, and for some weird reason, meatballs.

It was a lot like when I was pregnant.

Good luck, you're almost done! Things will return to normal thereafter...

crackers and gingerale should be helpful for the nausea

when a love-one couldn't eat, the hospital gave him lollipops, apple juice, etc.--anything for calories

he would not drink the Ensure they gave him--but it would have been good for him--calories + vitamins in a shake

Feel better soon.

I like pretzels, some how they taste good to me, even with the chemo.
