Ever had a LTC. or full bird walk up to you on purpose everytime and make conversation just so you'd have to stand there and yes sir him and all? Seems like this one is seeking me out all the time and trying to make his presence known. Honestly when he comes in I was under the impession that the people with him were to call the room to attention, but they never do for some reason. He's a flyer and they are more laid back so maybe that's why I guess.

I never said he liked me in that way. The thought never even crossed my mind you lune! I was merely asking if anyone could relate to thie fact that the guy is power hungry and wants everyone to know he's there and tries to intimidate. Shut yer hole!

Just tell him "with all due respect, sir, I have work to do." And then give him the proper greeting and walk away. If he makes you feel uncomfortable, request mast, he may have "other" motives in mind and is trying to use his rank to his advantage.

Are you Air Force? My husband is Army. Possibly the guy is just making small talk to be social and you should really respect that because he could ignore you and not give a crap about you. Supposedly the military is calling for higher ranking individuals to start being more open with lower ranking ones... so possibly that is it as well.

I'm 22 year Army enlisted and I don't particularly care for officers. They are political animals and all they care about is the promotion. Especially as they get closer to General. Colonels can taste that star and that is what they focus on. I agree with the first responder to your question. This pervert just wants to nail you!

Yes flyer's are a different breed. If he is married, every time he starts to talk to you ask him so sir how is your wife and kids, or something like that. That might give him the hint you are not interested. If he crosses the line, don't be afraid to let him know.

Why is it some women think when a man makes conversation with them that the guy is 'hitting' on her? Are you that stuck on yourself and so shallow? Sure sounds like it.

If he ask you what you're doing, just confuse him with the technical details of your job. That's how I get rid of higher-ups.
