to muslims, mohammad is as pure and flawless as jesus is to christians.... we beleive all his wars were for a holly cause and were chosen with great wisdom.... it is also stated in the quoran that those who die by mistake in a struggle to defeat evil, even when considered on evil's side, go to heaven... some muslims are a bit too touchy about comments against him, but i for one beleive that it is really necessary to discuss such events in history...

There is ample evidence concerning muhamid in history. It takes some searching to find it but the truth is still there... But not for long if the islamists have their way...they, like the mormons did, are making a great effort to rewrite history and to destroy all evidence of the truth of muhamid and the founding of islam. many libraries "lose" books about islam if they do not meet the islamist story. and book stores in many areas are so intimidated now that they will not carry certain books on the islamist hit list. The internet is flooded with mis information that is rapidly becomeing "internet truth" simply because it gets spread so far and repeated so many times... while the real books on the subject keep disapearing....in islamist countries a person can get killed if they speak any thing other than the islamist distortions... and now even in western countries very many people are afraid to speak out againt the islamies because of all the terrorist crap going on...every one betteer start learning arabikky

Not all of us blindly follow Sheikhs, we search and we study Islam.
We know that Mohammed was very peaceful and knowledgeable because we have the Sunna which is a record for all of his saying, actions and situations ( reactions as well)
that's how we know how our Prophet was.
Mohammed did not confuse his enemies, and he didn't do everything without God' permission. See, even the Hijra ( first Islamic immigration) happened because God told him through Gabriel.
We believe that there was some kind of wisdom behind everything that had happened during Mohammed's existence because it was God's orders, and God is All Knowing and All Mighty and of course Wise.
In wars, Mohammed did not allow his armies to kill those innocents people, it was part of the ethics of wars we have in Islam.
Yes, Islamists tend to ask their Sheikhs.
You have to be careful from where you get your sources from, it differs whether they were Shiite sources or Sunni. Btw the word Mullahs is mainly used to Shiites Islamic clergy not to Sunnis..and it does make a difference..

most of them have words in the koran they see as backing wat their leaders say. some verses there are pretty militaristic.
