Olive Oil is the very best thing for you - rub it all over after every shower. Within a week or 2 you should have lovely soft skin again. It took 3 days on my kid's scratchily dry skin - it felt like sand paper.
I will also say that Olive Oil is high in essential fatty acids and can be very soothing to your body systems as well. I am always certain to rub it on my back just under the ribs where the adrenal glands are to help soothe and calm frayed nerves (or to keep them from getting that way).
Peace!

Do you have any acne problems or anything? Well the best thing is to see your doctor and it does not have to be a dermatologist! I am in the same boat you are. I get dry skin around my nose and lips and it's really annoying. My pediatrician at Kaiser gave me this yellow tubed gel cream, it's not like lotion but more like a gel and it's clear. You wipe it on dry spots and it also stops redness which also occurs a lot during winter. It really works with me and I just blot it on whenever I see a flake.

a million. undeniable unscented Dove cleansing soap. keep your bath/bathe water as cool as you are able to very truly stand it. do no longer use warm water. 2. keep on with a thick layer of Cetaphil cream, no longer lotion over your finished body after each and each bath/bathe. in case you locate that you're nevertheless feeling dry upload Robathal bath oil or Eucerin calming bath oil on your habitual. it may nevertheless be used in the bathe - only placed it on moist dermis and rinse off - use the Cetaphil cream too. evaluate including an AHA lotion in the course of the summer time months. Edit* Uncle is ideal, keep your self hydrated.

See the link below.
I personally use petroleum jelly with shea butter after a shower or bath at night which helps with the dryness.

buy a big tub of aqueous cream from the chemist and use it instead of soap. It is cheap and good. Put a bit on a bath scrunchie and it foams and is great for your skin.
