First of all, call your local animal control agency, shelter, SPCA, anyone you can think of. Post lost cat flyers all over the area your cat went missing from. If you are offering a reward, don't specify the amount. Check with vets in your area; sometimes a citizen who finds a cat may not know what to do with it so they will bring it to a vet. Hopefully your cat is not injured, but if it was the vet would be a logical place for it to be. Ask your neighbors if they have seen your cat, as well as to check their sheds, garages, etc. because cats have a tendency to hide out in those areas. If your cat is spayed or neutered, it is most likely within a mile of home. Good luck!

Check with your local shelter, call the newspaper place a lost and found ad. Check the lost and founds too-maybe someone found you cat. Put up lost and found flyers at stores and your neighborhood. If you have a photo of your cat that would help identify her

Go to the area shelter to look for her. You may describe her differently than a shelter worker would.

Cats don't usually go far, so put up posters, ask the neighbors, and really look for it. Be sure to call your local animal shelters, including any that aren't the ASPCA. We have a number of them around my area that are volunteer organizations. Keep looking! I lost a cat for more than a month, and found it.

you need to check with the local animal shelters now

also put up posters in the area where the cat was lost.

i had a dog missing for 4 weeks, and when i called the animal shelter they told me of a reported lost dog that fit the description of my dog. i went there and recovered him

i also had a cat that was wondering around the neighborhood and an old lady thought he was lost so she put him in her house and kept him inside for 2 weeks. eventually i knocked on enough doors and recovered him.

Check with your local animal shelter and turn in a lost pet report. Type up some flyers to hand out in your neighborhood. It could be that someone has found him and taken him in. Cats are much safer when they are indoor pets.

Is it a male cat? Sometimes male cats will go away for pretty long periods of time. I had one once who wandered off for about a month!! He looked pretty bad when he got home. Good luck, i hope he comes back.
