Some women say it increases size, some say it makes breasts look ugly. I've noticed from Y! Answers that when women breastfeed longer, it does increase size, but when they don't breastfeed or breastfeed only for a short time after childbirth, it makes breasts sag and deflates them. I'm a soon-to-be mom and I want to know what to do.

I just stopped breastfeeding last November when my second baby turned one ( I breastfed both, by the way) My breasts did get bigger while pregnant and during breastfeeding...mine turned out fine...no sagging or stretch marks or anything like that (they looked great, better than ever!!!)
As you are a soon to be mom, one of my tips that I would tell other women when they'd ask how come I didn't get any stretch marks at all anywhere on me was I'd apply lotion all over as often as possible...even before going to sleep is good. My first pregnancy I had a hard time finding cocoa butter lotion in stock anywhere so I used eucerin....luckily I found cocoa butter during the second time. I noticed that it also helped my skins elasticity...because right after giving birth both times(I'm serious about this one, right after pushing them out) my skin just sucked right back in on my belly so right to this day still look as if I've never had children before, I'll give you an example, 1st pre-pregnancy weight was 115lbs then a few days before having my baby I was at 150lbs...then right after delivery I was skinny again, right back to 115 with the flat tummy and everything...my husband was the first to notice the flat tummy in the delivery room and pointed that out to me and said exactly I can't believe my eyes.

So lots of lotion is my tip to keep skin looking great during and after baby is here

Congratulations!!!!

Breastfeeding Breast Size

First off; don't skip breast feeding for vanity's sake. All the mushy stuff they say about it being a wonderful bonding experience is true. On another more selfish side you will lose the pregnancy weight faster and if you are lucky you won't have a period for several months.

On the bad news side however since your breast will expand with breast feed they will also deflate a bit when you stop. But thanks to a fabulous invention called the bra (works better if it is properly fitted) it doesn't matter that much. Everything streches out while you pregnant and nothing ever looks the same as it did before; unless you are incredibly lucky in the genetics department or have a fantastic plastic surgeon.

Breast feed you baby and let nature take its course. You don't always lose size sometimes you gain it and it stays but breast feeding doesn't do anything that gravity won't do anyway.

Whilst you're breastfeeding you'll find your breasts walk into a room some moments before the rest of you, you have a cleavage to die for and at times they are as hard as rocks. Over time this decreases. After stopping feeding they'll feel flat and deflated but over time, and I mean years, they'll return to normal. Breasts will sag somewhat as you age whether you breastfeed or not. Exercising the pectoral muscles helps a little but really you either love and accept your body as it is (not withstanding you do your bit by keeping fit and healthy). Or go for the surgical option and have the pert boobs of a 20 year old as you're fighting arthritis, alopecia and alzheimers.

I hasten to add all this is my own experience (can still pull off not wearing a bra at near 40 - and no, they aren't down to my waist)

While breastfeeding my breasts were increased in size and not sagging(best they EVER LOOKED). It is when you stop breastfeeding that they will start sagging and go down in size and cup. That's when the breast lift and augmentation comes in (just kidding but that's what I did).

Yep, I've read those answers, too. Hey, if a lot of women say it does increase breast size, then I guess it's a pretty good bet it does. They stated it from their own experiences. Besides, your baby does need breastfeeding - it's the best thing you can do for him. And I think all your apprehensions about breastfeeding will disappear the moment you set sight on your adorable newborn. :) I hope they do, anyway.

I have breast fed two babies and my breasts are almost 2 cup sizes smaller then they were before I ever got pregnant. My youngest is 4 now and I don't think that there is any hope that they will ever be the same again. I know many women who say their breasts got bigger. I am sooo jealous!

Heyy. What's up? My name's Gwenivere, let me tell you a brief story about myself which I believe may be of some Hẹlp to you... Growing up, I was teased all throughout high-school. You know, I was that girl with the really small breasts that everyone liked to make fun of. I did not hit puberty until a little bit later on in my life. People used to say all kinds of mean things to me, refering to my breasts as "man-boobs", "mosquito bite titts", "flat-chested" ... it just went on and on. I even had one boyfriend that told me that he was ashamed to be seen with me in public. The ridicule never seemd to end. Because of this, I went through school being very self-conscious about my appearance and my ability to get boys to like me. Even after puberty, I never made it past an A cup.. so my negative self-image carried on into college. The emotional scars left by those mean girls (and boys) from HS never quite faded.

So, with that, I was determined to change my predicament. The thought of going through life feeling insecure about my body was unacceptable to me , especially during my college years. So what I did was a thorough, dedicated search. I scoured the web for answers. I spent several days and nights pouring through an endless amount of first-hand accounts and other personal experiences with various products and solutions. During this quest, I found precisely what I was seeking. It was a topical cream called "CurvyBust" @ https://curvybust.im .. The first bottle that they sent out was totally Frẹe, the only thing I had to do was pay for the S&H. This is the only reason I even tried it, normally I would be too skeptical to bother with something "too good to be true." All I can say is, unbelievable. I went up almost 2 cup sizes in just a matter of a couple months. You would not believe what this has done for my self-esteem and outlook on things. I almost feel like I have a new lease on life. There is nothing quite like feeling perfectly comfortable in your own skin again.

Take care! I hope you find the answers you are looking for <3

I just took a health class and I learned that lactating and breastfeding does not affect the size of your breasts.
