You should make her room like purple walls, and put a phone in her room ,get a wood dresser, paint her closet white, get purple lamps, purple rugs,get a nice telivision with a dvd,or a vcr player or both.Get a sterio with big speakers,get picture frames,so she can put her friends and her in her picture frame.Get lots of toys,and storage places for them.Get a bookshelf and lots of books.Get crayons,markers,stickers,and lots of paper so she can color and decorate.Get jewlrey.Get a make-up mirror.Get a humongus mirror.

i would suggest cute things but make sure everything can be changed quickly. a lot of girls change their mind a lot. soo if she wants the entire room purple, paint it all purple. do what she wants to do and help her get creative. add colorful bean bags and seating to make it fun place for her friends to hang out. good luck!

Well when my daughter was that age what I did was I had her go with me to Lowes and we picked out colors together. It helps to keep the line of communications open between you and your daughter. Plus it was a lot of fun.

easy then. paint/paper whole room white (or cream) and paint one wall purple....purple rug, lamps and cushions in a variety of textures....that way it wont date to quickly and you can add stuff as you go. :)
