NO, that was world war II. WWI was when the Kaiser of Germany had his army invade Austria, and that set off the whole war. Go on the Internet and look up Kaiser Wilhelm-interesting guy. Another power hungry imperialist.

Dear turn off MTV and pick-up a book. Pearl Harbor was the reason we entered WW II. However strangely your question of Hitler has a ironic answer. Hitler was a private in the German Army during WW I and was wounded; the terms of Germany's surrender and the way they were treated molded his ideas and motivation which led him to start WW II. Seriously you would find life much more interesting if you knew what people were speaking about and the reason the world is in the shape it is in.

Hitler fought in WWI, but no... the one with Hitler as a power and Pearl Harbor was WWII. I see you are not on the research part of your paper yet.

No boo....Neither. One could argue however, that Hitler is a result of World War I.
The significance of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor was that it dragged the U.S. into the World War II chaos that was already going on overseas. Prior to that our country wasn't involved.

Hitler was a participant in WW1, but as a Corporal in the Austrial army he didn't rise to power until the mid thirties and was probably one of the key people responsible for the outbreak of world way ll.
