is highschool *freshman year*, too early to think about getting a job?
i have a lot of places to choose from in my town that are all near the highschool

does it interfier badly with studying and homework too?

It depends on how much time you have and homework and what all you do. If you're involved in any sports or extra curriculars, than try to avoid getting a job as long as possible, because scheduling and not having any free time can be exhausting. But if you don't do anything outside of school and have a lot of free time, then a few hours a week probably won't hurt.

But think about it, you'll have a job for the rest of your life, so it's a good idea to stay a kid as long as possible. [Especially if your parents are the kind that'll generally pay for what you might need.]

I think so. If I were you I'd wait until your Junior or Senior year.
