What fines do I have to pay if I drive a car without license plates in the State of New York?

Around $125.00, at least in Nassau County. An unregistered vehicle is also often uninsured and uninspected. Those fines would be added on top of that and could easily triple or quadruple the total fines.

Don't know the fines, but in some of the more liberal states, they can also take the car from you. This would concern me more that a fine.
