My favorite is Six Flags Great Adventure, New Jersey.
In addition to the great traditional thrill rides, they have a Safari ride where you can see wild animals in a simulated natural habitat.
Also, this park is within 30 minutes of some of the great New Jersey beaches/amusement parks such as Point Pleasant, Seaside Heights, Avon by the Sea and Belmar.

I've been to A LOT of theme parks but my favorites would have to be Universal Studios/ Island of adventure, Disney World/Disney Land and the Busch Gardens. They are all amazing places with their little intricate designs and all. they are really cool and have nice roller coasters.

Cedar Point b/c it's it's kind of a midwest traditional spot, and has some of the best, if not the best roller coasters in the world.
