i'm just curios as to some of your differnt takes on the idea of bringing home 20,000 as apposed to sending 20,000 more and saying to hell with the iraque insurgents and letting them all kill each other. hell they're going to anyway but let them do it without the cost of our men and women;brothers and sisters mothers and fathers,and sons and daughters.

I think we should bring them all home - people in the middle east have been at war for hundreds, maybe thousands of years now, with no end in sight, and we've just provided them with a new target. I mean, seriously, how would America feel if another country decided to invade us just to take out George Bush?? I'm sure some nations have considered it, at least.

Well we have quite the expert here.
These "iraque insurgents" will not kill each other off. They will take over Iraq and give Iran complete control of the Middle East(yes, the same Iran that wants to nuke Israel). I don't know if the surge is a good idea or not, but I don't think it will make things worse.

Iran is looking at an unstable Iraq and licking their chops like a wolf looking at a lamb. Pulling out of Iraq without leaving Iraq in a more stable position would cost us 100X or 1000X the casualties down the road. It would become a center for the expansion of radical Islam into Europe. European countries would begin seeing the same sort of problems that Russia has had and it would grow and grow.

or 2) give our current troops more backup.
Either way, those men and women need our support while they're fighting for us and our next generation!
