You can open the email and save it through the file menu but reading it later can be a pain. What I use is just as easy and much more transportable. I have installed the CutePDF writer which allows me to "print" files in pdf format. So if you wish to save an email to a floppy (peeps still use those?) just "print" it to cutepdf writer (it installs itself as a printer on your computer) and opening the email will be simple..
