Deviled eggs, as every holy person knows, are eggs secretly hatched from Satan, who is currently in the form of a chicken someplace in Northwestern New Mexico.
When brought and presented at parties, they've been "flavored" up, and decorated to appear tasty and delicious, but those hatched hellspawns are ready to cause trouble once swallowed.
So, if accidentally eaten, drink a gallon of holy water to wash down the evil energy living inside your stomach for a while, pray 15 Our Fathers while standing on your head in Time's Square, New York City, and for goodness sake....don't take a word of this seriously.

Anyone who has a problem eating something because of it's name has issues. Even a Christian who wouldn't think of eating a deviled egg because of it's name is a..... Weirdo! I am a Christian and I eat them. What's the issue?
