Muhammad was raised illiterate, unable to read or write, and remained like that till his death. Among all his people, he was known as being truthful and trustworthy. Before receiving revelation, he had no prior knowledge of Religion or any previously sent Message. He remained like that for his first forty years. Revelation then came to Muhammad with the Qur’an that we now have between our hands. This Qur’an mentioned most of the accounts found in the previous scriptures, telling us about these events in the greatest detail as if he witnessed them. These accounts came precisely as they were found in the Torah sent down to Moses and in the Gospel sent down to Jesus . Neither the Jews or Christians were able to belie him regarding anything that he said.

The holy Koran wasn't written by Prophet Mohamed. Whoever told you so? The holy Koran is the word of god. Just because Prophet Mohamed was the last Rasool of god doesn't necessarily mean that he himself wrote the holy book.
The holy Koran wasn't "written" like a novel. It was compiled by a Khalifa after the holy Prophet deceased.

It was never written "by" the prophet muhammad(pbuh). It was "revealed to" the prophet muhammad(pbuh). The quran was written down by his followers. He would always speak orally to the masses whom believed, then they decided to write it down when one questioned, "How can we keep these words preserved?". So they wrote it down. But muhammad(pbuh) could not read nor write. PEACE!

And it looks and sounds like you are in the same boat. At least read what you write before you post it.

Supposably God either directed him in writing in or gave the entire book to him... And if he was directed by God, he wouldn't have needed to know how to read or write.

It was like the Bible-------it was recited and scribes wrote it down.
The Bible, and the Qur'an, were recited over and over, until man was able to write them down.
