I'll use a baking stone to bake them

This suggestion won't help you right now, but you may want to consider it for the future. I switched from parchment to silpats - nonstick silicone mats from france. Walmart, Target, etc carry some for around $8 but I can only attest to the silpat, around $17. I can reuse the mat when putting the next batch in the oven and it saves on parchment cost. I only use parchment when my silpat won't fit (round pans).

the closest thing would be lightly waxed paper but parchment is best. depending on the heat, the wax paper will burn.

i substitute it for some dessert recipes and such but you might be better off just waiting until you get more parchment paper.

Do your need parchment?
I would think the bare stone should be fine.
That's definately more traditional... similar to baking in a hearth.

it seems like the bare stone should work. what about using the same sheet of parchment over and over?
