Just a general question for christians and atheists alike.

I don't beleive in the following places:
Narnia
Oz
Any Star Wars planet
Atlantis
Any fictional nation, country, or planet

Got it?

Seriously. You people who use those references need to honestly grow up.

Oh, BTW, my opinion of wether Heaven or Hell exists does not change with anyone's answers. I still beleive in them both.

Hell is a construct of those who believe in that stuff, so what do you think?

Firstly to answer this we have to define an atheist and then Hell and then what happens after we die.
Hell - the place or state of punishment of the wicked after death; the abode of evil and condemned spirits; Gehenna or Tartarus.
An atheist is one who denies the existence of a deity or of divine beings.

Does Hell exist? who knows? Can we concieve it? Probably not.
Is an atheists only choice to go to heaven or hell? I sincerely doubt it. Being Catholic I have to believe that that Hell is for the bad. I know many atheists who are wonderful people and do far more for others than I do. To say they are bad people is a serious error and an unholy mistake in my opinion.

God has put a lot of effort into the world and life and the intricacies of our amazingly detailed and balanced planet for people who were not brought up in catholic households to be cast out. For example; If I were born in America before its discovery did god send me to hell to punish me for being bad? The good book didnt reach there for a very long time after that stage. It is a possibility that we are given a second chance by reincarnation. Jesus states reincarnation is possible so according to him it may be the case. To have all atheists out of heaven would not make it divine, it would be sectarian and against all Jesus taught us. 'God is love' means he has a path for these people.

Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)

I sure hope not, I have sure prayed for some people who in life professed to be either atheist or agnostic. These were good moral people and I pray there will be some consideration for folks like that. They are just resistant, and or ignorant.

I hope, that after death, atheists get exactly what they want. But i don't think they'll be going to hell. hell is a place of eternal punishment. but with existence there is hope. I think atheists will die and disappear- becoming nothing, as most of them believe.

On the basis that hell does not exist (nor does heaven), then the answer obviously has to be no.

It doesn't exist, so no one can go. Heaven and hell are a figment of the human imagination.

No.
saying we're going to Hell is like
saying we'll be going to Valhalla
or Tatoonie. It's not real.

There is no hell. Nor is there a heaven, Oz or Narnia.
