what happens when you flunk history or science?

do you have to do the whole grade over? i'm talking about elementary school... thanks =)

I think it's an overall grade system. If you flunk too many subjects, you could be held back. Sometimes, you can be advanced to the next grade, but be required to do remedial work on the side.
