Well, if you just want to trip a psychic up, that's easy. Too many people think that being psychic is like in the movies - that they're never wrong and they know everything about you, but it doesn't work that way at all.
I don't know if Sylvia Brown claims to be able to do that (I've never heard of her), but a real psychic isn't like a fortune-telling machine. A real psychic gets feelings and impressions from interaction with others and s/he works with them to resolve their concerns about the future.
If you want to trip up a fake psychic who claims to know everything, you could ask them to tell you your exact birthday or something. That wouldn't be worthwhile to ask in case they were right, but it would at least have a low success rate. You could also ask her to pick some winning lottery numbers for you.

Hide an object under your bed in the morning and ask her what it was.
Or you could ask her why she won't apply for Randi's million dollar challenge that she agreed to take on Larry King's show over 3 years ago.
But warn your mother NOT to talk about this to any audience members - she has plants in the show that she uses to know some stuff ahead of time. She won't call on her if she even suspects it's a set up.

Ask her to tell you your name! or better yet the next winning lottery number.
You should not be consulting with them at all.

I say.. don't waste your time.....despite whether she's legit or not, she shouldn't be using those skills for personal profit.

Is Jesus your Lord and Savior? If she says no, then she's "legit."

If she's real, then tell her to go to hell, by herself...and run.
