How can I raise money for a tattoo removal?

Question

As a college student, I am searching for ways to raise money, perhaps through donations, to pursue a laser tattoo removal operation.

I would be blessed if I could speak with a doctor who performs such operations, one that would essentially "sponsor" me in this quest to rid my skin of this ink...

I firmly believe in the Pay-It-Forward Theory and look forward to ridding myself of this tattoo.

Any ideas as to how I might acquire the financial means to do so are greatly appreciated.

Please, anyone considering a tattoo... please think long and hard about it.

Not to be rude, but I would tell you to get a job and raise the money yourself before I donated. I save my donations for needy people (starving, homeless, sick, etc. ) Unless this is a gang tatoo, you will most likely not get much response for a doctor to sponsor you.

Well its a cosmetic procedure so the doctors should have some kind of financing program (they're not going to ask you for a big wad of money before they have even done anything). Why don't you try and contact a plastic surgeon and have a consultation, he/she should be able to clear everything up for you....good luck

Ways to raise money: "Car-washes", make fudge ,or cookies, and sell them door-to-door........ Make homemade Playdough, and find a mold to shape them in, and sell those for $1.00-$2.00 each..... You can find the homemade playdough recipe on a crafts.com site..... My kids & I used to make things at Christmas time to offer them a few dollars to buy eachother gifts, for Christmas, and you wouldn't believe how much money we made off of the playdough cookie monster & big bird playdough!! ALOT!!! The playdough smells so good too!! I think its the cream of tartar you add to the recipe!! We even ran out of them, and had people placing orders, so we had to go home and make more!! We sold them for $1.00 each, and that was 10 years ago!! People never complained about the price either!! Then, we also made fudge, and sliced them in tiny squares, with nuts and without, and wrapped them in foil, and pretty ribbon (red & green). But since the holiday is over and Valentines Day is coming up, you could make the playdough in heart shapes, and dye them pink, and put pink ribbon on the fudge, with white or red too..... You'll be amased at how much people are willing to buy things that are pleasing to the eye!!! I may just have that playdough recipe, for you..... Be right back!! Got It!! 1 cup of flour, (also you can double or triple these ingredients for more).. 1/4 cup salt 1/4 tspoon cream of tartar, 1 cup of hot water.. You can use either food coloring or cool aid, for the coloring...... Years ago, we used cool aid, and they smelled Fabulous!!! In a nonstick pan, or container mix the dry ingredients. Slowly add the water and mix all ingredients.... Place on wax paper , on a cutting board or counter.... knead for a couple of minutes, until well blended... let cool, Store covered if your not going to use right away. Or the part that your not useing..... You can probably get cookie cutters in the shapes of hearts, this time of year, and or animals and believe me , families with children will be buying these up!!! So, between this and the car washes, you should have your money for your tatoo, REMOVAL in NO TIME FLAT!!!! Good-Luck, to you & your's !!! Have Fun, hun!!! Smile!!!!

im sorrry no offense but i wouldnt give u a dime either. i think u should get a job because i dont think youll be getting much money. :(
