our attack on iraq was not justified. we were lied to about the weapons of mass destruction that never existed to gain support for the attack.as far as the hanging of suddam;yes it was justified soley for the fact of all the women and children he gassed back in the 80's.but just as justified as would be the execution of that lieing son-of bitc- busch for the thousands of soldiers we've lost for a cause that was fabricated from the begining just to satisfy that pus-ies ego.

Get your facts straight. America attacked the regime of Saddam. (looking for WMDS, BIO & CHEM weapons)We then stayed(Occupied in need for oil) to rebuild the country(Bush all ready stated that there would NOT BE ANY NATION BUILDING) and bring freedom to Iraqis (latest reason given by neocons)who were desperately in favor (having the US military leave ASAP)of living under a democratic system of government. American forces captured and guarded Saddam while the Iraqi courts decided his fate. Then they carried out their decision. This made Iran and the rest of the Islamic terrorists there very nervous(WHY HOW) and as one can see, they will do anything in their power to preserve their sadistic form of theocracy up to and including sending (new CONspiorcy theory)people to message boards and answer boards to sow seeds of doubt and fear. As well as sending people into Iraq with explosives(PROOF?) strapped to their bodies to murder and maim innocent men, women and children.

Q1: Yes. So did the US congress.
Q2: That is a question for the Iraqi's. They tried him and they hung him. However, the guy was a monster and way beyond being just a "dictator". In many ways hanging was too easy for him, he certainly didn't show that same mercy with many of his victims.

Oh please tell me why Saddam deserved to live? What makes him so much better than everyone else on death row?
