I making Dorito Chicken, but do I really need sour cream? A good recipie with out sour cream?

I have noticed the rotel tomoatoes do i need the tomatoes?

You can use Cream of Chicken soup.

2 lb chicken (2 to 3)
1 bag cheese Doritos
2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can mexican spiced tomatoes

Cook and debone chicken; set side. Saute garlic and onion. Mix together 1 1/2 cups cheese and tomatoes. Lay a layer of chicken, then chips, then a layer of cheese and tomato mix. Repeat layers. Top with leftover cheese and bake at 350 degrees until cheese is gold and bubbly.

Dorito Chicken

2 to 3 pounds chicken
1 bag of cheese doritos
2 cups shredded cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can rotel tomatoes
1 onion chopped finely
1 clove of garlic

Cook and debone chicken, put to the side. Saute garlic and onion, Mix together 1 1/2 cup cheese, garlic, onion and rotel tomatoes. Lay a layer of chicken, then chips, then a layer of garlic, onion, cheese and tomato mix. Repeat layers. Top with leftover cheese and bake at 350 till cheese is gold and bubbly.

I often use plain yogurt instead of sour cream. Actually, many countries that don't have sour cream use yogurt or thick cream. but u have this option too:
1 Chicken
1 pk Doritos (nacho cheese flavor
1 cn Corn (whole kernel)
Cheese (grated; to taste)
1 sm Onion (diced)
1 cn Cream of chicken soup
1 cn Cream of mushroom soup
1 c Milk
1 cn Ro-tel tomatoes

Boil and debone chicken. Layer chicken, Doritos, cheese, onion, and corn in casserole dish. Mix chicken soup, mushroom soup, milk and tomatoes. Pour over casserole. Top with cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes.
