i have done it once before and i was wondering if it is possible to OD with just 3 hits. i shouldn't have done it in the first place but i need to know if it's possible to die from the actual drug.

I have done it once before (3 hits) and i was wondering if it is possible to OD with just 3. i need to know if it's possible to die from acid. I would prefer that if you have never done acid yourself then please do not answer the question. I have done individual research on it already so stop suggesting i research it unless you give a good site or something of that sort. if i hadn't reasearched it already, do you really think i'd leave it up to strangers on Yahoo to determine things for me? thank you.

LSD causes NO physical damage to your body. It doesn't make your brain bleed, it doesn't stay in your spinal cord forever, and anything else you hear about it is propaganda. It's safer than Tylenol.
The exact mechanism of action isn't fully understood, but by the time you start tripping most of the LSD is out of your tissue already because it has a very short half life and is water soluble. If the drug you have really is LSD the only dangers would be mental. Before you take any strong psychedelic drugs you should probably read a lot more about them first. "The Psychedelic Experience" by Tim Leary et al is a good place to start. I think that there is a new edition out.

You can overdose on any drug, but as to whether or not you can die...think about what could be in the drug itself....its not regulated by anyone, so it may or may not be the pure drug.
LSD was very popular in the 60s & 70s and I believe at one time was even investigated as a legitimate drug. Many people died from it, not the drug directly, but from the hallucinations making them feel they could fly off the top of a building or run out in front of a car.
They also often suffered flashbacks of being on the drug even after that had quit using it. These were more along the lines of psychotic nightmares and again, many people killed themselves during these flashbacks...or ended up hospitalized long term. Some had permanent brain damage.

probably so. you can die from too much of just about anything and lets not forget that LSD may make you freak out and try to fly or something like that. try doing a touch of research on it. i would say you probably wouldn't die from 3 hits, though, unless it's REALLY good stuff. it's still not worth it. how would you like to explain to your kids one day that you're having a flashback?

I was recently told that Jimmi Hendrix died from an LSD overdose.
He would put it in his headband. Haven't checked on this.
I do know one friend that had LASTING effects from LSD, including hospitalization and flashbacks. He didn't take it on a regular basis, either.
If you cross the line, there may be no coming back.

You're playing with FIRE. The brain is a very complicated organ with many electrical impulses. You fool around in there, and you could WISH you were dead afterwards!

Yes it is possible. LSD causes permanent brain damage, just look at my mother-in-law. I knew a guy who went to a concert with 3 sheets of LSD in his pants to sell when it started to rain. His pants got wet and it seeped into his bloodstream and he died in a vomiting convulsing seizure/heartattack/stroke.

LSD makes your brain stem bleed, that's why you trip. Of course you can die if your brain stem is bleeding!
