I will soon immigrate to CANADA. I'm originally from ROMANIA but right now I work in POLAND in the field of textile engineering.

Once in CANADA I want to start some studies. Civil engineering or civil engineering technologist. Am not decided yet, that's why I'm writing here now. Does anyone know which of these 2 professions is more in demand and which one pays better? What's the difference between them? What province is more advisable to study and then work in?

The profession of engineering is more prestiguous and better paid, however it requires greater training and a more rigorous level of certification. In Canada certification (legal permission to practice) is under the authority of each of the Provinces, not the national government, and differs from Province to Province.
At present, the very strongest job markets for you are probably in Alberta and British Columbia though neither have very large textile industies.
