I have been trying for almost 3 years to obtain visa's for my wife and (my) her son to come to USA. All the delays have been due to stupid mistakes by the US Consulate in Guangzhou. Now her son turns 21years old, and the consulate informs me that I must start the whole process over again. I am very frustrated and angry. Now, I am willing to seek any possible solution to my dilema. I would appreciate any educated information and advice!
We are good honest educated people, and I have a thriving business.( no dependancy on the government for support). We have suffered hardship and I just want to bring my family together.

I'm sorry. I don't have any information for you, but would like you to know that I appreciate your honesty, and respect for America's laws. It's cases like yours the very reason I despise illegal aliens, and amnesty for them. Good luck, and God speed to you, and yours.

I am sorry for your trouble bringing your family together. I've been there. It's not easy, even once finally in the US. I am still having trouble with immigration even though i have my green card. Its no easy task. My husband is from the US and he field the papers himself until the embassy gave us trouble and more papers to fill in and etc....... ...... ..... so we got a lawyer from birmingham we had to pay the price though. She did all the work, all we had to do is make longdistance to each other, patience and finally couple of months later i was finally here with our lillte boy. i've been here for almost 3 years. Filling the papers yourself is harder, paying a lawyer was worth it. Gave us less filling out papes and went quicker.

I understand and i sure hope it help. go to usimmgration.com to find a lawyer near you, the best lawyers are in Atlanta if you live close. Some will have you pay a deposit and some will only have you pay when your family is finally here. but it will be close to 3000. dollars. We paid her monthly and she didn't accept any money until i had my green card.

Maybe that is what you would like to do, maybe you would feel less stressed and maybe it will go faster for your family to be together.

Hope i helped and i know what you are going thru. I am sorry.

If you are a U.S. citizen then you can bring your wife and children to the U.S. with K3 filing. Since you did not post your status, then it's really hard to answer your question. The 21 year old does not qualify under his mother and now must apply as an adult. If you would like more information e-mail me.

Guangzhou issues thousands of immigrant visas every year. It's hard to believe they have made stupid mistakes with the cases of your wife and stepson. What is the rest of the story?

You could always have them smuggled...crammed into a cargo container for a month with no food or water, confined with 15 other Chinese.

But seriously, you're S-O-L man. You have to go through the Embassy to get visas. And visas are temporary. I would suggest they file for US Citizenship and study to pass the Citizenship Exam.

I would go ahead and bring them over on a passport, and then get a green card. this link may help you with the green card. Good luck to you guys. It is nice to see people coming into the U.S who deserve to.
