alcan aluminium make a roof product of strip aluminium sheet named Ziplok - the edges of the sheets are zipped/rolled over each other to make the seal and the joints waterproof by a little machine run along the edges
this may be of no interest whatsoever to you as your question is under "Cooking" but its the only ziplok i have heard about!!
