Hi Storm,

I had a similar problem years ago.....and it got so bad that if I couldn't find a solution I just knew that I was going to become violent with the people.

My solution?.....I went to a sporting goods store and bought a pair of shooters earphones........and I slept like a baby until the problem resolved itself.

The down side of using them is that you can only sleep on your back.......

You might wanna try earplugs.....then you can sleep in any position but the earphones usually work better.

Here's a pic of the earphones in case ya don't know what I'm talking about:

I worked midnights for years and had all kinds of problems with sleeping from "too much sunlight" to noise...to phone calls.......and I know how to get to sleep.

:-)

good luck

i will (or so i'm instructed). I have no thought why the two. yet perchance it relies upon of ways deep in sleep i'm. i will normally get roused if I purely began drowsing (perchance an hour into mendacity down) yet after that (fantastically 3 hours till now waking up) i'm completely non-attentive to noises like alarms, site visitors, environment noises, telephone, television, pc music and so on. Yea perchance that's how I sleep by way of loud noises. with tips from drowsing like a ineffective log : )

I use a sound machine that makes white noise at night and it helps block out many sounds from outside. I'm not sure if it would block out everything you are experiencing, but it's worth checking it out. these can be purchased relatively inexpensive.

You can find these at Sharper Image and other stores on the internet.

If there's any way you can move to a relatively quieter neighborhood that would help. I know that it sometimes cost too much to move that's why I recommend the sound machine.
