E-4 Specialist/ or/ Corporal (a corporal is a NCO specs are not)
E-5 Sergeant
E-6 Staff Sergeant

To correct sean, E9 in the Army can be one of three different titles:
Sergeant Major (usually a technical expert)
Command Sergeant Major (the top NCO at battalion or higher level command)
Sergeant Major of the Army (only one like he said)

one rank i have not seen on here which they dont give out(anymore) but is still a rank was general of the armies which was held by George Washington.
