Is it normal that beer gets me much more drunk then an equivelant amount of liquor? I find when drinking beer with friends, and we are drinking at the same pace, i will be more drunk than them, but when doing shots with the exact same friends at the exact same pace they will be noticibly much more drunk than me while i only have a moderate buzz. Is there going on with my body that makes beer hit me harder?

If I go out and drink beer its a bubbly kind of drunk, usually mix a couple shots in there.
But, if I drink 7/7's or Jack n Coke all night, like at weddings or nw yrs i usually have a black out drunk kind of night, maybe everyones different, or it's what your used to.

No difficulty-free answer right here; sorry. it truly relies upon on your weight and what grow to be on your abdomen earlier you began ingesting and how right now you down the beverages. in case you're a one hundred pound chick who ate celery all day, one drink receives you lower than the impact of alcohol. in case you're a 220 lb. guy who ate 2 chili cheese dogs and an finished bag of Doritos even as ingesting, it is going to take a good purchase more suitable! 3 beverages spread over a gourmand dinner which takes 3 hours is amazingly different than 3 beverages does as images in ten minutes. a not difficulty-free equivalency is that one 12 oz. beer equals one 5 oz. wine equals one shot of puzzling liquor.

the only thing that gets you drunk is alcohol. are you drinking ice beer, pints/pounders or imports, or beer that would have a higher percentage of alcohol by volume?

It is normal. Alcoholic mixed or carbonated drinks actually get you drunker sooner than straight liquor. It's weird, but true. It has something to do with the sugars and carbonation.
