How do you know you are not improving? There may be one or two techniques that you are not imroving a lot on right now, that is fairly natural, vary it up a little bit, find something you are good at within kickboxing, start with the basics and expand from there. Check your foot positioning, you need a base to work outward from. Once you've been in kickboxing for a couple years you will be able to look back, at the steady progress you've made, even if it is slow, and look at yourself now, and say that you have definetly improved. It is not possible to stop improving, although if you stop training and working towards a goal, you can regress, don't let this happen, keep training, keep working, and things will come around.

I have been in Shito Ryu for 3 years and am a 2nd degree brown belt. I love karate very much yet I have no talent in the area. I am however a specialist of hard work. I'm now able to hold my own agents the classes finest student (a first degree black belt). I am in no way bragging I just want to tell you no mater how many times you fail if you keep trying you will be able to match and even surpass those with talent.

Everyone can learn Martial Arts. You don't say how long you've been studying or how often you attend class. Talk to your instructor. Frequently, students are making a lot more progress than they think they are. If you are certain that you are not making progress, you may need to change where or how you train. Every instructor isn't good for every student.

Sometimes you come up to a wall that prevents your improvement but seriously practice makes perfect. You will eventually look back and see where you improved and what held you back. OR try another art.

I was taught that with hard work one can over come any obstacles. That is not correct. No matter how hard I work, there are somethings I will never be good at. I learned this lesson in graduate school when I failed to solve a problem after extensive work. So, in your case, it may be that you will not succeed. I do suggest that you will succeed in other areas.

You have a bad trainer. Perhaps you are trying to move too fast? Master the basics first, long and hard.

I don't think it's that important for a girl to become a champion fighter. It's predominantly a manly art.
