If a glass dish says pyrex on it this means it can safely be heated.

Yes Pyrex is one of the versatile types of glass, it can be used in microwaves and also conventional ovens too - added advantage, as you may know, is it washes up pretty good too!

You may find the 'lid' rattles as there are no vent holes, but don't worry too much, it's just a bit noisy.

Yes, but it can sometimes get a bit hot from the heat transferred from the food. It's always my choice for microwave cooking, far more versatile and longer lasting.

I do regularly and always been fine,just be aware the dish can get hot though so use oven gloves
