How many white people live in the US?
How many African Americans live in the US?
How many Latinos live in the US?
How many Asians live in the US?

I want to know, because people say that __% of the population of ____ race are born out of wedlock, imprisoned, etc. Percent shouldn't matter as much as how many people total.

For example, let's pretend that there are 100 people of a certain race in the USA, and 50 percent are born out of wedlock. Let's also pretend that there are 200 people of a different race, and the same percentage of that race is born out of wedlock. Can someone please give me the answers.

Peaches, all the Colombians I know live in my neighborhood. A middle class suburb. So shut up before you start to get on my nerves.

Oops! Too late!

If you're going to use a word, Peaches, then spell it right.

you are wise . this may be one of the most intelligent questions ever asked on yahoo. you have such great insight into the dynamics of society .
I think you should run for president one day .
the % of each race or number of each race that is born out of wedlock would be higher in some races i am sure of that but the actual numbers i am not sure if the government would even let you know the results. A smart person like you could use that information to form intelligent suggestions and the government doesn't seem to be too keen on getting too many intelligent informed suggestions.

First of all, your ethnic terms overlap. Using those terms, your result would be over a hundred percent. There are white, black, and Asian Latinos. There are also millions of mixed race people.

Secondly, you've come up something of a question with a vague wording of what you'd like to prove and then ask everyone to do all your footwork for you. I'm sure some well-meaning people will give you some facts for your thesis but because your "question" is so poorly formed you'll find that you're not getting the information you want.

Thirdly, no one has these facts off the top of their heads so the answerers will have to perform the research on the Internet for you. Why don't you do this yourself? Why do you assume you can put out your thesis and then ask other people to prove it for you? It's one thing to ask where you can find the information it's another thing to say "I've got an opinion and I want everyone else to prove it for me". You can do that when you're the lead attorney in a law firm or the publisher of a periodical and you're paying people to do it.
