ok... i think i like this guy. but my friends would totally freak out & so would he if he knew. we have so much in common, and we're in the same classes all day at school. i see him more than i do my best friends! he acts like he likes me, but when i flirt back, he stops. what does this mean & what should i do?

p.s.- i've known him 5 years and we know a lot about each other. we were alone one day & i told him that he was acting like he liked me. he responed with a joke (he's the class clown) about it

wow!! i have the same problem. look. guys are very difficult. they are very confusing. one day they are all flirty and the next day they don't even know your name. but don't freak out. its perfectly normal. he most likely does like you.guys love to flirt when they like a girl. its there way of showing that they are interested. and its good that you flirt back but not to much. see the key is to seem interested but keep it to a minimum. other wise if you are to touchy feely they get scared and act wiered. so just act like his friend. and flirt a little but at the same time play hard to get. GUYS LOVE THAT!!!!!

You're in school for heaven sakes. He's still a little shy when it comes to relationships. It sounds like either he likes you or he's gay. You need to sit him down and talk to him. While talking to him very slowly bring up little parts about how you feel and build up to the point everything comes out but do it slowly. You have all the time in the world.

You need more information about him and you need to get to know him. People are shy about relationships coming out of "left field". You also need to give him some kind of reason to be interested in you. Don't worry about your friends, they are not the ones who like him after all, you are.

Honestly? I think this guy is oblivious that you like him. Guys ALWAYS expect girls to flirt with them, whether they like them or not. Pay atention to what he says to other girls and how he acts around them, who knows, he might just not be able to distinguish flirting!

i think he might be uncomfortable. and when u flirt back ur making fun him. so i suggest u take him somewher quiet and alone and ask him do u like or have u been flirting with me to play me.

same thing happened with me, i just asked him out and later he told me that he was going to ask me out he was just to nervous and didnt want to have me say no, i recomend asking him out...
