Do you mean if the earth stops spinning? Or if the solar system stops moving through the galaxy? Or if the galaxy stops moving through the universe?
In any case, we'd all die.

If the world stopped spinning abruptly, you and every unfixed object would carry on at about 18 miles per second - for how long is a moot point. If you smacked into a fixed object at that speed .......

My personal answer, we'd be in a hell of a lot of trouble. Somebody would be stuck in darkness or neverending daylight.
