i have my moments where i dont want to be bothered but who dont,an every time i turn around someone always wants something exsp, family they want to make all there problems yours how can i turn them away without hurting there feelings and still maintain my sanity?

I am having the same feeling.I have been sleeping between 2.30 to 3.30 in the morning for almost 2 weeks now and wake up at 8.00 in the morning, as I cannot sleep anymore. I started to talk to a plush toy (a pink color Unicorn by the name of Lucky, thinking he will change my luck) as though he's like a human being.

Then yesterday was my FINAL BOILING POINT. I just switch of my mobile phone, send e-mails, sms and left a message on my answering machine that I am taking a short break on my own.

I went for a spa, message, watch my favorite Korean Soap Opera, went to do some light shopping, have my nails done and then sleep the whole day.

So today I feel so much better. Sometimes you need some "ME" time so just tell your family members that you need to do something and will talk to them later.

Take a break and take care.

It sounds like you need some time away! If you can't take a vacation, maybe a few hours off to recharge. You definitely need to set aside some "me time" on a regular basis, even if it's just 20 minutes before everyone wakes up to center yourself. Explain as calmly as you can that you need a little private time. In the long run, it'll really pay off. Good luck!

I have the same problem with my family. As long as you keep solving their problems for them, they'll keep coming to you. Quit answering your phone, or tell them that your really stressed, and you don't think you can help them out all the time. Let them know, your always going to be there for them, but you can't keep putting their happiness before your own.

Take some time to yourself...go on a vacation...go out... have fun or just go to the park... see a movie.... do things that make you happy.. and don't stress other people because you are the only one that matters....you come first... good luck

What you need to do is take so time for your self. Treat your self to something. Like a shopping day or just some quiet time to your self(a movie or a good book) Take a day off from everything. Do something you don't often get to do.

Or do like every 2 week take a whole day to yourself.

Listen if you were to take yourself out of the loop-the world will not fall apart.

Let your family know that you need alone time right now and that they will have to find solutions to their problems without your help.

People will eventually get the message if you keep up that mantra. and they will leave you alone.
For stress:
take long walks
take long baths
read.
go out to dinner alone or with friends
go to the movies.

- I recomend live, loud music. Not trash, garbage, but music with content and feel and volume.

- Also some alcohol if you ae not driving.

- See friends

- GO SHOPPING GIRL!

Take your dog for a walk.

- Last but not leaset: sex...

Go on a vacation for a week or so, or meditate in a quite place somewhere.
