Marriage plans require me to move back to Pakistan. However, I was raised here for 18 years. If I am a U.S. Citizen, what type of paperwork would require me to be able to live in Pakistan but come back to the U.S. to visit my parents and siblings here whenever I wanted? If anyone is in particular situation from any country with any information please do help. Thank you..

If you are a naturalized US citizen you can come and go as you please. It is only permanent residents who have restrictions. We cannot be away for longer than a year, as a rule.

As a naturalized citizen you are not held to any obligation to remain in the U.S. You can travel, live abroad and also retire abroad and still receive your full retirement funds or SSI. Also if you have children abroad, your children will also gain U.S. citizenship. If this does happen be sure to file your children's status with the consulate for they will obtain their citizenship.

Good luck

I guess you would apply for a visa to go back and visit. I watched the movie The Road to Guantanamo last night, don't go to Afganhistan... Look what happened to those guys!

You don't lose your US citizenship unless you renounce it. Just deal with the Pakistan side of things.
