this guy jsut keeps staring and i can't go up to him and ask him what he wants. he is on the same course as me in university and he just won't stop staring for the past 2 yrs. He wont say anything and now it hurts like crazy cos he doesnt talk to me and i dont talk to him but what does he want from me. i just want to knw what goes on in his head. what is he thinking etc? pls just help me. I have to do something. i can;t keep goign on likr this. Something must be done.

Two yrs is a long time to just stare at someone. Sounds a little creepy to me. Why haven't you approached him just to say hi or something? I mean he could be shy, but 2yrs? Don't go crazy, take a deep breath and get in his face, you will get your answers.

You're right, something must be done. But it doesn't make sense to just sit there and let the creep keep staring at you. What's his problem? And why don't you try and find out? You can do it nicely or mean - you choose. You can either go up to him and say, "excuse me, but I noticed that your staring at me consistantly. May I help you?" Or, (my favorite way), you can march right up to him and say, "EXCUSE me, but what the HELL are you staring at, you idiot?!!!! Listen, I know I'm unusually attractive, but you just need to GET A LIFE, or maybe consider taking a picture, because it lasts longer, you freakin' stalker!!! And if you stare at me ONE more time, I'm gonna kick your ***!!!!!!" **** off!!!!

Sounds like you're both too shy. If he doesn't make a move and you want to know whats what you'll have to approach him.
Better still get a freind to talk to him and tell him if wants something to come right out and say it as his behaviour is making oyu uncomfortable.
One thing: you're not clear weather you WANT him to talk to you or not. It would help to know.

Maybe he needs glasses so he does not know he is staring! I often do not wear my glasses for long distance so I can be staring at you not seeing. I have even been told I am giving dirty looks when this can be further from the truth!

Why don't you just go and ask him why he keeps staring at you!
Perhaps he fancies you and doesn't know how to deal with it - sometimes you need to prod a little!
