My boyfriend and I was out of touch for 3 weeks after we got into a major fight and ended up hurting each other. I tried to contact him during the past 3 weeks yet couldn't reach him. Today he contacted me and explained he was out of touch because he was deeply ashamed he had hurt me and let me down, and he also wanted some time alone to think and work out what was going on.
Now he asks me to take my time to think what I want from life and love. And he feels I need much more than him and deserve so much better than him.
Is he trying to tell me in a nice way I should move on with my life as he feels he is not the right guy for me?
Or he is just being apologetic so that I can take him back and accept him as who he is ?

ok dont you think that if he is saying take my time to think what I want from life and love. And he feels I need much more than him and deserve so much better than him?? As you can tell he wants you but after what he did he feels as like he messed up and that you dont want him back so just tell that you understand where he is coming from and tell him do you want to move on or stay together he is giving you the choice so you will be happy but if you give him the choice it will prove how much he cares about you

I had a boyfriend exactly like yours. I had a boyfriend of six years pull this junk every few months. He always wound up getting on with his single lifestyle until he realized what we had was the better deal, everytime. I got fed up and left him. If he wasnt willing to communicate then it means there is a communication gap and it cant get solved on its own and doesnt make for a very strong relationship. I understand a guy needing to vent or take time to think, but my boyfriend used to use it as a psychological tool to make me think I couldnt live without him that he was the best in the world. last time we broke up I was married to my real soulmate and have been happily married for three years and have beautiful children. Sounds like yours was like mine and has some issues. There are other guys out there that will treat you right, go find yours. Good Luck.

Very obvious he is asking you to move on. You deserve a better person and from the way he cook up this lame excuse, I think he will hurt you again as he is uncertain about the relationship. If he is uncertain then he will be like a time bomb, such incident will happen again.
so dear take a break, do some soul searching, do yoga, have a make over and move on.

hes trying to tell you that you need to do some soul searching as he did ......hes wanting you to tell him that hes the one you want and that things will work out with you. but seriously if you guys are haveing fights that seperate you for weeks at a time hes right you also need to think about things and make sure that this relationship is beneficial for the both of you. from what you said it sounds like he is shameful of something maybe he did or said and hes trying to find a way to deal with that feeling.. you two need to really sit down and talk about what happend to start all this and just be open and honest with one another about your feelings your wants and needs. i promise you everything will work out for the best.

I think he is beating himself up. Some guys think that they don't deserve to be loved. When me and my husband really fight. He gets all into the thoughts Im a bad husband I don't deserve you blah blah blah. I think he is truly being apologetic talking to him more will help you sort it out.

hes trying to tell you to figure out what you want. he must think you deserve better than him and probably does want you but doesnt think he deserves you either because hes not good enough.
well, figure out what you want. if it all comes down to him, then let him know that and mend things up with him. let him know he is very deserving to have you and that you want him from life and love... or something liek that...

last time a guy said that to me he cheated on me and he was right i did deserve better. he is trying to tell u to move on. if u cant love him for his differences u dont need to be in a relationship cause no one is perfect.

He's probably think you and him don't have the relationship feeling (he still likes you as much as he use to )he use to have with you (you might of changed) and yes I think he feels that he's not the right guy for you anymore.
