I have been cheated on in past relationships and of course it made me insecure in new relationships. But, one thing I realized is that not all people are the same. You have to try and heal from your previous relationship in order to move on into a healthier one. You don't want to bring baggage from your previous relationship into the next. I say you start out trusting a person and if they ruin that trust well then either you leave them or if they are sorry and sincere about it than they have to earn that trust back. People can change. Sometimes we also get caught up in cycles where we end up picking the same type of people. Maybe pick your next relationship a Little differently.

It doesn't make me suspicious of every other relationship I have, but it did make me open my eyes and look for signs! I am more intune to if a person is fake or not.
If this was a future relationship with the person that cheated on you.. then it's not worth it, and my mind would be telling me they are cheating 24/7!

Yes.But if u trust that person will never do it again then u should be more open and to him/her.usually u get a gut feeling when something is going wrong sometimes it may be wrong the other timesit may be right but its up to to get to the bottom of if.so sweetie no one can really answer this question for u.but urself.i accuse my ma all the time I that its wrong but if I feel that way im going to ask questions.It happen and sometimes u would look at the next man as a cheater but not all men are the same.I GUESS I SHOULD TAKE MY OWN ADVICE!!

I've been cheated on and I'm actually still in the relationship. My boyfriend cheated years ago when we were still really young, and it made me a little more wiser in the sense that I trust my insticts more. I trust him completely now, but I definately know the signs and I know what kind of girls go for taken men. If we were to ever break up, I wouldn't take it out on the next guy, but I will still trust my gutt.
