That's up to the judge. Hopefully there wouldn't be any bond as long as the state's case is strong.

In Texas, for example there are guidelines to go by. First offense, child safe back at home, maybe $250,000.00, extenuating circumstances could possibly escalate the bond to half million or even up to no bond at all.
