Depends how bad it is. You can forget everything, or just a couple of things.

at the same time as Jim became once a ghost he did not opt to leave Melinda. He talked about Sam die and talked about his spirit bypass over so Jim possessed / took over his body. He did not keep in concepts something besides the actual undeniable truth that and became once interested in Melinda mutually making an attempt to ascertain Sam's life. then interior the destiny he almost died (once more desirable regardless of the indisputable fact that this time in Sam's body) mutually attempting to maintain Melinda from drowning. And by surprise he remembered Jim's life regardless of the indisputable fact that now not the truth that he'd died or something. After that they don't truly communicate about Sam and Jim is Jim once more desirable. I actually hated this storyline, they ought to have basically left it through myself in the journey that they were going to maintain Jim's human being!

well my Grandpa had it, and the only thing he remembered were T.V.s, and the Old Gym, where he trained guys to become Professional Boxers!!! So, whenever he'd disappear from the old folks home, my dad or one of his syblings knew right where to find ol' Gramps!!! He's surely be at the Gym, trying to watch the new trainer's how to teach their guys how to fight/box!!! Uh, my grandpa didn't remember any of us, not even his own children!! So, I think it depends on how bad they have it, because he did remember boxing and he loved watching t.v, before the stroke, so he remembered those two things only!!! Hope I was of some help to you!!!
