Has anyone ever tried everclear?

Someone told me its 100 proof, but I believe its about 75 proof or so. But, i was told i wouldn't be able to handle drinking it straight because it will kill me, lol...meaning I wouldn't be able to handle it. Supposedly it burns extremely bad especially when you breath in. Now, when I drink liquor, I usually drink whiskey sours and adios m*ther f*ckers...which is like 8 shots. Give me some feed back, because I dont wanna look like an idiot in front of people when I drink it tonight. If its really that bad, let me know. Thanks

I have tried everclear. It is 190 or 195 proof, which equates to 90% + alcohol. I tried a sip of it straight, it is bad and it does BURN real bad. The bottle even tells you not to drink it straight. I recommend mixing it with a non-carbonated beverage like lemonade. If mixed with soda, the soda will instantly go flat.
Keep in mind it is pure grain and is extremely flammable. You can get alcohol poisoning very quickly with it, so just be careful and have fun.

Mix it with something and you only need half as much of it as a regular liquor like vodka because it is twice as strong. Proof / 2 is the percentage of alcohol so if a vodka is labeled 90 proof, it's 45% alcohol.

The legal everclear is labeled 190 proof, so it's 95% pure alcohol. Be careful with it, it's not a good idea to do shots with it, alcohol poisoning can come on fast with it.

I think you've got the proof and alcohol% mixed. Everclear is heavy-duty stuff, drinking enough of it will cause lots of problems. 100 proof would mean that the liquor is about 50% alcohol by volume, Everclear bypasses that by a mile. Are you even of age?

Everclear is 190 proof, I drink it EVERY weekend!! I mix it with Orange Juice, which is really good, or any juice will work cranberry is good too. But yeah, you can NOT do shots of this stuff. But I love it, cuz it gets you ****** up fast and if your just drinking to get ****** up and not have to buy alot of liquor to do it, Everclear rocks!!

Its nasty ****! I've tried it, it isn't even good. Drink something that you like it isn't worth drinking. I sell it in my liquor store. Its 95% Alcohol by volume (190 proof). If you even look at the label its not even appetizing. It says:

CAUTION!!! EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE handle with care.

WARNING!!! OVERCONSUMPTION MAY ENDANGER YOUR
HEALTH!

Do not drink this ****...its horrible for a person, I don't know why they even sell it. I sell it to people that actually make their own liquor. And pretty much that's it!!

no see sweetie it's 190 proof straight fire water. my b/f drinks it and it will **** you up to the point you won't remember anything. lets just say if you tune you car just right you can run your car off the ****. it's a creeper if your sitting down and stand up your right back on the floor or couch i hope you have a soft landing if you wanna be dumb and do it straight.

Please, don't try it,IT really is that bad,we tried some,way back some,everclear is usually used into mixing,like making red eye ,or whatever,my brother and my sisters and I ,we tried it when our parents had a bottle at home,,mom had some left over,so of course we had to sneak some,,that is experience I would not wish on anybody,,

they served everclear punch a lot when i was in college. could get you very messed up. just to give you an idea, my best friend's dad found out we had drank it and he went and bought some, put it in his lawnmower and made us watch him mow the lawn!

its a very very stong alcohol. its a grain alcohol which i dont think is quite 100 but very close. we bought some that was 97. tastes a lot like vodka to me. i like to mix it with slice and ice
