I had to go back for more surgery though. So I was just wondering while you are still bleeding after having your baby if you can get pregnant again? (No longer breast feeding either, which reduces the chances) . And I had a D&C done afterward to help clean out some of the placenta the doctor accidently left for a month so could that make it easier to get pregnatn also, since the uterus has been scraped? Ps having some of the same symptoms as when I got pregnant with my daughter.

You could definitely be pregnant again. There are many cases in which a woman will go for her 6 week check up to find herself pregnant again already. If you have quit breastfeeding this actually increases the chances of you getting pregnant if you're not on any type of birth control/using protection. (If you breastfeed EXCLUSIVELY - by this I mean EVERY feeding, then you will not ovulate for up to 3-6 months) It does not matter if you're still bleeding.. if you had sex and not protected you could be pregnant. The D&C does not have any more of an effect to getting pregnant than having the baby.

I know so many girls who thought they couldn't get pregnant right after a birth. so wrong.

so you could be, but it's better to take a test or get to the doc.

also a scrapped uterus isn't good, so go back to the doc and see what's up.

maybe go to a different doctor or something....

yes-it can happen, even if you were still breastfeeding & didnt have a cycle return.
the first 6 weeks after having a baby are when the chances are greatest.
