the recent deployment of military in iraq by bush should be the begining of new war,wha't your own view.

we are just replacing the troops of some of our allies, mainly Britain, who have decided to withdraw, we WILL attack Iran but we will drop bombs first

The extra troops sound like a sound plan. In the past an offensive operation in Iraq required that troops be pulled from one area in order to reinforce another.

And with the British pulling out - Al Sadr is losing his safe haven. So we can expect that the extra troops will be used to break the Iranian backed militias that the British allowed him to create.

IMHO this is something that has to be tried, but lets be realistic at the same time and understand that there is only a small chance of success.
There are a lot of us that now reside in geezerhood that remember all to well what happened the last time this strategy was tried.

It won't be a new war unless Iran or Syria jump in. He's simply "bulking" up our current troop #'s so we're a little more efficient in what we're currently doing. God bless our troops!

i think bush is trying to get more men over there to bring this to an end faster. i support him either way
