iTunes DAAP?

I use itunes with my xbox but it would only allow me to use itunes versions later than 7 and i want to install iTunes 7. My question is if i can install to versions of iTunes on my computer. For instance :

iTunes 6 and 7?

i have 7 but i think you could i mean my cousin has a 5 i think and it wouldn't let me charge my Ipod on her computer
