If this is the only exerecise that your doing to try to loose weight then no . You need to have a great diet and another for of exercise program in your life . The walking is a good way to get energized and to keep your heart pumping good wich means good circulation and it exercises your lungs also . There are alot of pluses to walking but you cannot just do this to reduce weight especially just when it really works the lower part of your body and your heart and lungs .

Walking is good for you, it stimulates your heart, helps to reduce your weight, but to do this you also need to be smart and watch what you are eating as that is the larger part of the story.
A friend of mine was going to have to have a surgery because of a bad vain in her leg..........she change doctor's and was told that if she walked 3 miles a day she could grow a new one......it is working.......
I think we have a small understanding of what our bodies are able to do with smart thinking..

What walking in the morning will do is jump start your metabolism. You will feel better all day and have a lot of energy. Combine that with lots of water and you will feel great!
