You need to go to Lauterbrunnen near Interlaken and take a tram to the top of one of the mountains and hike down. Also I would go to the Italian part. Lugano is beautiful and there is an amazing stone city called Corrippo (sp?) in the Val de Verzasca (sp?) near Locarno that is one of my favorite places in the world. Zurich is a good (but very expensive) big city (about 1/2 million). St. Gallen is a nice laid back city and it is near Appenzell which is a very pretty little town with their own extremely stinky cheese. The castle near Montreux is quite interesting. If you are going in February watch out for Fastnacht in Basel. It's unbelievable.

Well, Switzerland is a small country - but there are so many different parts and attractions that one really could spend weeks here.

Expecting you would arrive at Zurich airport anyway, Zurich is an attractive city with its lake, the medieval ally ways and the shopping possibilities. Lucerne (Luzern) is a perfect place to see central Switzerland and be near to the mountains - perhaps you can go up Pilatus from there by cable railway?

Probably the most impressive mountain with railway access to the top is the Jungfrau in the so-called "Bernese Alps" - but perhaps you rather like visiting towns like Geneva? Or make a special railway tour around Switzerland - either with the "Glacier Express" all in the alps or an individual tour like from Berne via Lucerne to St. Gall...?

Manneken Pis would nicely be very huge-spread for Brussels, notwithstanding it truly is truly small, so please don't be deceived! In Brussels, there is concepts-blowing paintings Nouveau structure, concepts-blowing comics.. So, in case you want to combine, do visite the Centre Belge de l. a. Bande Dessinnée, a astounding paintings Nouveau progression and comics museum. For a visit of Brussels, i'd walk also to the Grand'position, l. a. petite rue des bouchers, le mont des arts and from there to le Sablon and the Palace of Justice (large sight of downtown Brussels), then take the panoramic carry and walk by skill of the community "Les Marolles" and drink an rather good Trappist beer on the Skieven Architek in the position du jeu de Boule... in case you want to bypass somewhat extra, take the metro to heyzel and visit the Atomium, Mini-Europe, the jap tower, or the metro to Merode and visit the museums of the Cinquantenaire, and from there to the ecu establishments. I also like the community of position Flagey, Etangs d'Ixelles and Abbaye de l. a. Cambre. there's a good and intensely regular pub referred to as "Belga" there... The community of Rue du Bailli and position du Châtelain is likewise truly astounding, i'd bypass there for lengthy beverages and a astounding walk. Then there is excursion & Taxis, a good business progression that has been renovated no longer some time previous.
