Maybe I am mistaken but I'm reading your question as asking which is the best digital SLR. In that case it is a hard question and depends largely on your price range and your intentions. I mean the "best" cameras are $3K-$5K (US) and I kind of doubt that is what you are looking for. With the lower priced models it would depend on what you want to spend. At some price points I'd recommend a Canon, at other prices I'd recommend a Nikon. I tend to stick with those two brands because they offer the largest range of accessories, both new and used.

There is no simple answer here. Basically 35 mm gives you the best quality. But with it eventually getting more and more rare than it already has become. Film Prices and Developing prices will soon go up. Digital is no doubt a million times more convenient. Plus they are a hundred times easier to operate than most people make them out to be.

Answer: If you have tons and tons of money buy a nice 35 mm if you don't go digital because they are the wave of the future.

Yeah, I'm not sure if you mean, "Which is the best digital SLR?" or, "Which is better; 35 mm or digital?" Post another question to clear up the confusion.

If you want the best you need one that is at least 1000$ otherwise you're getting the lower end... and it depends what you're looking for in a camera.

Best?
The one you master is the best!
Now if you are a beginner and is thinking which one to start with, I say digital.

Best wishes!!!

Not this again! I own and use both. They both have strengths and weaknesses. Pick one or the other or both and enjoy!
