The Raven, as Thomas J suggested, is a fantastic poem, either for performance or just to read. If your feeling adventurous, another one of my personal favorites is Jabberwocky by Luis Carroll (Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There (1872)).

I would either A) Pick something that Dr. Seuss wrote (I can't believe it's considered poetry either!) or B) Pick something with a line that repeats itself a lot, it'll be really easy. Good luck!

Find a poem that you like and memorize it. I learned one when I was a kid, it's been my favorite ever since. It's called Cremation of Sam Magee. Look into it.
