please explain why we have nothing to fear from all the "blood-sucking" critters, bugs, insects, ect. around us. One must consider all of the mosquitos, flies, ticts, and countless other "no see-um 's" co-existing with us, in this great animal kingdom. It only seems like comon sense that they should be studied more indepth. These unsanitized, nasty carriers worry me far more that the druggy on the corner. Am I the only one losing sleep over this??

Hepatitis C is a virus that could want to heavily damage the liver and impact its skill to operate properly. that's mainly spread by contact with the blood of someone who's contaminated. a lot less regularly it would want to also be surpassed on with the help of alternative body fluids. you could't capture it by prevalent contact alongside with preserving hands, hugging, kissing or by sharing lavatories, crockery or kitchen utensils maximum human beings do not journey any indicators at the same time as they develop into contaminated. some human beings would sense right now sick and in uncommon circumstances would develop into jaundiced (yellowing of the floor and eyes). lots of those with continual hepatitis C an infection would don't have any indicators, at the same time as others will sense sick in various levels.

Yes, you're the only one losing sleep over this. Malaria is spread person to person via mosquito. Tse tse flies carry African sleeping sickness person to person.
HIV and Hep C are not viable in insect bodies. Bugs don't transmit these viruses. This is known to science as a fact. Okay?

That was bothering me too, until I asked my doctor about it, here's what he said; the HIV virus is actually quite fragile. Once it is out of the human body, it doesn't live very long. Fleas, ticks, etc don't get HIV from human blood, but, of course they do carry human blood around. Once the virus is withdrawn from the host though, it dies very quickly. There are no documented cases of human's getting HIV from insects. That answered my (and hopefully) your question on HIV. I don't know about HEP C because I got the shots. I encourage everyone to get these shots. They last a lifetime, and if you get HEP C from ANY source, it damages your liver for LIFE. The shots were no more painful than a flu shot, but you have to do two. Problem solved.

chill out my brotha;it has been studied and it has been put to rest. the reason you can tranfer hiv by needle is because it draws the blood and then pushes it back in unlike a mosquito;it just sucks the blood.hope you sleep better tonight.

I wouldn't say I am losing sleep over it, but I have wondered the same thing. Supposedly, mosquito's can transmit disease, why not HIV? I agree, it should be researched. But unless you are the scientist researching it, Honey, don't lose sleep over it!!!

we don't have *nothing* to fear, technically you CAN get those diseases from those bugs. But it's b/c there's less blood being shared.
